The Embassy of the Republic of Korea is seeking an administrative staff member with a strong interest in and passion for Korean culture. Qualified applicants are encouraged to submit their applications no later than March 12, 2026.

 

1. Position Overview

 Position: Administrative Staff (Cultural Affairs Coordinator)

 Responsibilities

- Monitoring local media and managing public relations

- Building local networks and developing external partnerships

- Planning and managing cultural events

- Researching cultural and artistic trends in the Czech Republic

- Performing general administrative duties and interpretation support

 

2. Working Conditions

 Contract Period: 1 year (including 3 months of the probationary period)

- Employment will be confirmed following a satisfactory evaluation after the probationary period.

The contract may be renewed based on performance

 Working hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (up to 8 hours per day)

 Place of work: Embassy of the Republic of Korea
(Pelléova 15, 160 00 Praha 6-Bubenec, Czech Republic)

 Basic Salary: USD 2,000 per month (including tax, social security, health insurance, etc.)

  Overtime Payment and bonuses (if applicable)

ㅇ Expected start date: the end of April 2026

 

3. Eligibility requirements

 Czech residency status holders

 - A person who can legally stay and work in the Czech Republic without time restrictions

- No grounds for disqualification from employment at a Korean government institution (e.g., no criminal record)

- Demonstrated responsibility, integrity, and ability to perform public duties diligently

ㅇ Mandatory Requirements

Native or equivalent-level proficiency in Czech

- Proficiency in Korean or English (both written and spoken)

- Proficiency in office software (e.g., HWP, MS Office)

ㅇ Preferred Qualifications

- Fluency in both Korean and English

- Skills in graphic and video editing software

- Experience in planning and operating cultural programs or public relations

- Previous administrative work experience

 

4. Application Procedure

 Deadline: 12 Mar 2026 (Thu) by 24:00 (Czech Time)

- Email subject line must be: “Applying for Administrative Staff (Applicant’s Name)”

- Applications submitted by post or in person will not be accepted.

ㅇ Required Documents

  - Application form (attached), completed in Korean or English

  - Proof of language proficiency, working experiences and copies of other certifications (if any)

* All documents MUST be combined in one single PDF file / Original documents must be submitted upon employment confirmation.

5. Selection process

 1st round: documents screening

  * Successful candidates will be notified individually within 10 days of the application deadline.

  - Criteria: residency status, language proficiency, integrity, work experience, etc.

 2nd Round: Interview (Scheduled for March 25, subject to change)

- Criteria: professional knowledge, communication skills, language proficiency, etc.

- A third interview may be conducted if necessary.

ㅇ Result Announcement (Scheduled for March 27, subject to change)

- Only final candidates will be contacted.

- Instructions for submitting additional documents will be provided.

- Final employment is subject to background check results and verification of eligibility..

 

6. Important Notes

ㅇ The recruitment schedule is subject to change. Only successful candidates will be contacted at each stage.

ㅇ Even if selected as the final candidate, the employment contract may not be signed if the applicant is found ineligible during the background check.

ㅇ Applicants are responsible for any disadvantages caused by false information, errors, or failure to submit required documents.

ㅇ If the selected candidate declines, is disqualified, or becomes ineligible, the Embassy may offer the position to the next candidate on the waiting list within three months of the original start date.

ㅇ If no suitable candidates are identified, the recruitment may be extended, re-announced, or canceled.
